Idaho waterfall

Between sessions, I really want to share Idaho with you all! I know some of my followers are from where I grew up in Oregon and some from Idaho as well. You never know what new opportunities are right in your back yard!

This past weekend in, Southern Idaho, was so gorgeous I got my first official sunburn! That just means the weather can only get better from here. I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed our adventure this weekend. We wandered towards Fairfield and then over to the South Fork of the Boise River, with Cinch and Elly in tow, of course.

The area near the South Fork of the Boise River that we explored, was actually part of the area that burned in last year’s big fire near Mountain Home. It was beautiful to see signs of regrowth everywhere, as well as MANY signs of wildlife. Deer, elk and yes, even wolves, have re-inhabited the area. You know what the best part was? The only sounds breaking the silence, were birds chirping. The waterfall was a nice little feature as well. A great place to get a little exercise and get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life 🙂
